Malls To Visit in Kuala Lumpur

I usually avoid Malaysia vlogs on YouTube because Malaysia was part of my childhood and now that I don’t live there anymore, I feel extremely jealous of my childhood and to the people that are living there because Malaysia is truly my most favourite country in the world! But more on that later.

Kuala Lumpur is known for the world's tallest twin skyscrapers, Petronas Twin Towers and KLCC right next to it. The city is a true gem of Asia in my opinion so if you plan to travel to Kuala Lumpur, here are the things you should during your stay in Malaysia!

Shop in KLCC (Kuala Lumpur City Centre)

I honestly have nothing to say but I am practically forcing you and begging you to go to KLCC and shop there. Hands down, it is the most beautiful tourist attraction in Kuala Lumpur so if you love to walk around in cities, definitely go to KLCC! If you don’t, then WHAT ARE YOU REALLY DOING IN YOUR LIFE?! I promise, if you go to KLCC, you will feel 100 times better than it was before!

Pavilion Mall

In this mall, you can find electronic or technology stores, famous cuisines such as Vietnamese, Chinese, Indian cuisines, and more, but also local restaurants. The mall has always been decorated every time there is an event or a holiday Malaysians and probably Indians celebrate such as Diwali (or Deepavali), Selamat Hari Merdeka, Selamat Hari Raya, Chinese New Year, and a lot more to celebrate in the country.

If you're an avid book reader or a stationery addict, visit Kinokuniya in KLCC, Popular in Avenue K, or Times Bookstore in Pavilion Mall

In the mall, you can find a lot of clothing stores and stationery stores that are perfect for students studying in college or university because there are endless choices in your clothing style so that students don’t “run out” of outfits to wear. However, choosing a clothing piece may consume time and frustrate you at some point since a lot of the clothes are too pretty to not buy so 70% of your time shopping in Pavilion is probably just shopping for clothes alone. So definitely save a lot of money because, in my opinion, Pavilion has the best taste in clothing style!

Plus, there are a lot of stationery and office supplies stores such as Times Bookstore and MUJI. I personally recommend everyone reading this to shop and buy clothes and stationeries in MUJI because their products are eco-friendly and their clothes have a nice scent of natural cotton and polyester. They also have notebooks in which the covers are made of recycled thick paper and the most aesthetic school or office supplies ever.

I'll be honest...

While I was writing this blog, I can’t help but sob a little bit because I truly miss Malaysia; my childhood country, and my home close to my heart. I had a lot of good memories and experiences going to a prestigious international school in Wangsa Maju and walking a lot in the city of Kuala Lumpur. But now that’s gone, I just feel hopeless and I would just worry everyday like what if I can’t immigrate and stay in Malaysia anymore? I constantly have to overthink, stress about my future, and when I will permanently stay there, it is all about time and the lack of patience within me. I just hate that the good memories and the good times have to come to an end and I HATE that it is part of life. At least I didn’t take my life there for granted but I feel sad that my time in Malaysia is over.
